Wedding photography at Hillbark Hotel

Wedding photography on the Wirral
I was lucky to be asked to be Simon and Rebecca’s wedding photographer recently. They were married in the wonderful Hillbark Hotel, on the Wirral in Merseyside, a short drive from Liverpool. They had a winter theme and the venue looked absolutely amazing, with loads of reds, seasonal flowers, matching perfectly with button-holes and bridesmaids dresses.
Day started with the bridal party, capturing all the preparation details and final touches. I went for a journalistic style of photography, standing back, letting things unfold, rather than posing too many images. And hopefully the photographs show that.
We used the wonderful venue at Hillbark Hotel to it’s full extent, using all the period features in many of the photos. Later Rebecca and Simon had a ceilidh band and traditional dances – absolutely great fun and brilliant to take pictures. Definitely one of my favourite weddings !
Many congratulations to Rebecca and Simon and best wishes for the future !

David provided an excellent service as our wedding photographer. He met with us to discuss requirements, visited the venue in advance to scope out good scenes for shots and stayed late on the day to catch our guests dancing. He was kind and professional at all times and patient with our changing requests on the day. The photos are lovely and we are really happy with them. I would recommend David to anyone.
