Racquet Club – Liverpool wedding photography

Finally catching up with my blog, after a really busy Christmas period with two weddings. First up was Jenny and Ken who got married at their local parish St Johns in Walton and then travelled to a fabulous reception at The Racquet Club. The ground was still covered with snow and ice, but thankfully that didn’t stop us. We were able to get lots of fabulous photographs and I was able to cover both the grooms and the brides preparations before heading to the church.
St John the Evangelist is a great church for photographing the ceremony as there is room to move around discreetly and capture the action from lots of different perspectives. Something I always love to do. And I know the place really well now, as it was my third wedding there! After the ceremony was over everyone made their way outside to congratulate the happy couple, in the usual way, by throwing confetti !
Later we travelled onwards to the fantastic Racquet Club, in Liverpool city centre. It is one of my favourite venues, as it has a really relaxed atmosphere and some wonderful staff. Again another third time visit for me shooting a wedding there, so I really know my way around the club now and they had gone to town with some wonderful festive decorations. Much dancing and fun was had.
Anyway, many congratulations to Jenny and Ken, it was an absolutely fabulous day and I really enjoyed being part of it.

David was really friendly and put everyone at ease. Many of our guests commented on how discreet he was. We hardly noticed he was there (in a good way of course). Whenever we had questions that we wanted answering he responded straight away and provided a really quick turnaround with the album. We are so pleased with our album and the service David provided.
