Before the wedding

I like to meet the couple 2 or 3 weeks prior to the wedding to discuss the range and style of images required. Planning in advance things like timings and a list of must-have photos is key to the day going smoothly and also ensures you get the end-result you were hoping for. I will endeavour to visit the key locations to identify key photo locations and wet weather alternatives. Also it will be possible to book a pre-wedding or engagement photo shoot for the bride and groom.

On the day

A relaxed and professional style is my key to getting natural and beautiful images on your wedding day. I do my very best to fit into your plans and with the help of an usher can complete those traditional family group shots as quickly as possible. I aim to create pictures that tell the story of your wedding day, without being intrusive or obtrusive. I try where possible, to use natural light and love the candid style rather than something artificial and staged. Finally, for me, it's all about the details - those things that you've spent ages thinking about and planning; the flowers, detail on dresses, table settings - these are the things of interest that make your big day special and unique.

Afterwards
By the time you are home from honeymoon I will have worked a proof page layout of your album, which is provided electronically to allow you to provide feedback on the design before the products are finalised in our proofing meeting. Page layouts can be large images, a series of small images, montages, black and white, sepia - you help and direct me to style the look of your wedding book! Hopefully, following another couple of proofing rounds, your album will be perfect and I will then send to the printers. All being good you will have your album and DVD within two weeks of confirming the page layouts.

Album

Both packages include a 30 page wedding album, made by Italian company Mario Acerboni. These beautiful books are hand-made, and exclusive to professional photographers. I absolutely love them! And I use fantastic printers, Moorfields Photographic in Liverpool.

Extras

There are all sorts of things we can add on to any package if you are feeling creative. Here are just a few ideas; thank you cards, save the date cards, formal invitations, framed prints for Mum and Dad, large canvas prints, gift vouchers, an engagement photo shoot, a 'trash the dress' shoot, duplicate wedding albums, small parent albums.

The number of weddings that David photographs each year is strictly limited to ensure a consistent level of high quality work. Currently he is taking bookings for summer 2010 and has only a few weekends available - please contact us at the earliest possible opportunity to find out about availability.
