A summer wedding in Somerset

Many of my wedding clients arrive via refferals from previous happy couples. With Rahul and Abigail things were a little different - they met at the Big Chill music festival and posted a little request for photographers on the event's busy discussion boards. I've worked as a music photographer at the festival for the past 5 years and so someone passed on their message. We met and when I heard their plans I knew it was go to be brilliant.

Things began early for Rahul's preparations and then it was on to Abigail's parents home for a traditional Hindu ceremony.

Then it was off to the local English church for the second ceremony of the day!

Followed by a garden party back at Abigail's Mum and Dad's home; the garden was stunning and brimming with flowers.

Wedding guests arrive for the evening party

Early evening, and the guests cross a farmer's field to the final venue of this special day.

Taking inspiration from the music festival, a massive tent construction hosted the evening party.

It was an amazing day’s work. I LOVE my job so much.

Comments

"The album and photographs are just perfect - we are so happy with the end result"
Rahul and Abby

"My daughter and her new husband sought and arranged their own photographer who produced a wonderful album of the days event which they will cherish. David captured the joyous mood of the day both in the Indian wedding and the more traditional English church style one without obvious obtrusiveness. Well Done!"
Maggie
